Dr. Ahluwalia completed his family residency at St. Paul’s Hospital. Following residency, he spent two years practicing emergency medicine in Dawson Creek, BC.
During his time in Dawson Creek, Dr. Ahluwalia developed an increased awareness of health disparities and other struggles that members of rural communities face.
Dr. Ahluwalia strives to provide his patients with information and encouragement to promote health. He works to ensure each patient feels heard and prioritizes making time to listen and learn and working together with his patients.
He is committed to helping underserved communities around the lower mainland and other parts of BC get the healthcare that they need. He welcomes patients of all backgrounds and identities and also cares deeply about making sure members of the LGBTQ community feel comfortable and safe.
Dr. Ahluwalia also works as an emergency doctor and enjoys the opportunity to serve his community in family practice and in the hospital. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, exercise, and spending time with family.
